NBA side, the face of the West is changing quickly, with both the Suns and Mavericks facing 2-0 deficits right out of the gate...

Spurs shellac Suns - up 3-0
Pistons drop the ball in Philly - down 2-1
Exciting stuff, this...

4th Overtime!
San Jose Sharks lose off of Morrow's deflected sudden death goal to take an early summer, losing 2-1.
Did anyone else watch the longest game in Sharks' history this morning?
Dallas' goalie Turco with over 60 saves (most in NHL playoff history - Sharks couldn't do anything better, what can you do?) was just amazing to watch. Dallas really deserved to advance, (as did the Sharks).
Go Dallas!
OK, back to bed...it's 8:30? Crap!

Celtics in seven! Great game. Paul Pierce was sick - 41 points (I believe - maybe more). LeBron answered most of them, but missed a crucial layup near the end. Now we've got LA, Boston and Detroit in the final pairings. Seems like the late 80's all over again...
Damn, now I'm gonna have to stay up late some nights...

@dolyschaf: Hi thanks for the tips, are those baseball streams over sopcast? I don't think so, right? (Because MLB lawyers are seriously monitoring sopcast streams all of the time.)
Can you please post links here to what you are talking about? Thanks in advance.
@Flinx: I think I am going to just follow flinx in his estimations of what's gonna happen in sports in general.
I mean, flinx wanting Kansas to go all the way (they did) in college basketball (there were 64 teams in the tournament), and now flinx favoring a Lakers-Celtics final. Sad about the Hornets, but at least the fans can have a bit of a reality check. Why weren't you wanting a Blazers-Celtics final?
Oh yeah, can you please want a Dodgers-Angels World Series? Pretty please?
Unrelated NBA point: Another person said again that I look like and remind them of Mark Cuban (looks/mannerisms/voice). I would say about 60%. Actually I am fatter too (he lost a lot since those days when strangers in Dallas would walk up to me and shake my hand).

I have slightly revised the title of this thread with the ambiguous word "getting" to reflect the receiving (accessing by computer, TV, satellite) and understanding aspects of various sports in general.
Carry on.

Boston is in!
Detroit cannot beat Game 5:
The Detroit Pistons vs. Game 5
Poor Pistons fans.
Oh-so-close Pistons Game 5s that saw them go down 2-3 in a playoff series:
2008: Boston Celtics 106, Detroit Pistons 102
2007: Cleveland Cavaliers 109, Detroit Pistons 107 (2OT)
2006: Cleveland Cavaliers 86, Detroit Pistons 84
2005: San Antonio Spurs 96, Detroit Pistons 95 (OT)
2004: New Jersey Nets 127, Detroit Pistons 120 (3OT)

Celtics will be taking game 2 - (Up 20 with 5 min to go)! Doubt that they will dominate like this in LA, though...
