The VE directory is intended to allow users to share their tips for bars, restaurants and services with other users. It is not just restricted to Viennese locations and services, although this is the default option and entries are sorted by postcode so Viennese entries will come top of the tree. The directory is available for all site users to browse, although you have to be logged in on the front page to make a submission to the directory. Submissions are checked and then published, to ensure that the entries are consistent - so please don't resubmit just because it doesn't appear immediately. The directory will expand with new categories as demand requires. 

Making a submission:

You have to be logged in to submit an item for the directory - and then in the Directory menu at the top you can click on "Submit location" to submit an entry. The other items in the directory menu are the categories that the directory has been split into.

Submission notes:

Please enter the name, street address, postcode and city of the location. Currently only Austrian locations are accepted.

Please enter the telephone and fax numbers and web address. All fields marked with asterisks (*) can not be left empty.

If you are submitting information about a restaurant, it is helpful to indicate what type of food is served (e.g. chinese, fastfood etc.)

For the opening hours, please use 24 hour clock and don't forget to mention which days the place is open!
